Shipping Policy

At Flixpew, we take pride in carefully crafting and delivering handmade wooden wall shelves and bookshelves. Because our products are made from solid natural wood and require protective packaging to avoid damage, our shipping process is designed to ensure both safety and efficiency. This policy provides detailed information about our shipping destinations, costs, processing times, and delivery expectations, so that you know exactly what happens once you place an order with us.

1. Shipping Areas

At the present time, Flixpew offers shipping services to two destinations: the United States and Ghana. For the safety of delivery and compliance with carrier regulations, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, military addresses such as APO, FPO, or DPO, or to overseas U.S. territories including Puerto Rico and Guam. All orders must be delivered to a valid physical street address where the carrier can securely hand over your wooden shelves. This ensures that your bookshelf arrives safely, without risk of misplacement or handling errors that may occur with non-standard addresses.

2. Shipping Costs

Because each bookshelf is handcrafted, often larger in size, and requires reinforced packaging for protection during transportation, shipping fees are set to reflect the actual logistics and handling required.

For customers located in the United States, the flat shipping fee is $150 per order. However, we also provide a free shipping benefit for larger purchases: any U.S. order valued over $1,800 qualifies for free shipping. This is especially useful for customers ordering multiple shelves or larger furniture pieces, as it helps offset the shipping costs that come with heavier wooden products.

For customers in Ghana, the shipping fee is $190 per order. Due to significantly higher international freight costs, customs handling, and extended transit routes, free shipping is not available for Ghana at this time. Customers will see all shipping costs clearly displayed at the checkout page before completing their purchase, ensuring full transparency.

3. Processing & Delivery Time

Once your order is placed, our workshop team begins preparing your bookshelf for shipment. Every shelf is carefully checked for quality, securely wrapped, and packed into custom protective packaging to reduce the risk of scratches, dents, or breakage during transit. Because we balance craftsmanship with efficiency, we divide the order journey into two stages: processing and shipping.

The processing stage typically requires 1 to 2 business days. During this time, your order is entered into our system, prepared for dispatch, and handed over to our shipping partners. Processing is carried out Monday through Friday, excluding official U.S. public holidays when both the workshop and carriers are closed.

After processing, your order moves to the delivery stage. For shipments within the United States, delivery generally takes between 4 to 6 business days, depending on the destination and the carrier’s route. Customers in Ghana should expect a longer delivery timeframe of 11 to 13 business days, reflecting the distance, customs clearance requirements, and international freight schedules.

To optimize delivery speed, we also apply a daily order cut-off time. Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST on a business day will begin processing on the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off time, or on weekends and public holidays, will be processed on the following business day.

This structure allows us to set clear expectations: for example, if you place an order on Monday morning before 2:00 PM CST, it will start processing that same day and ship out by Tuesday or Wednesday, arriving within the delivery window based on your location. By contrast, an order placed Monday evening after the cut-off would not begin processing until Tuesday, extending the delivery window by one business day.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will contain your unique tracking number and a direct link that allows you to monitor your shipment’s progress on the carrier’s official website. Please note that tracking details may take 24–48 hours to appear on the carrier’s system. During this waiting time, it is normal to see limited or no updates. We recommend checking the tracking link periodically. If tracking remains unchanged for an unusually long period, please contact our customer support so we can verify the situation and assist you.

5. Damaged or Lost Goods

Because each of our bookshelves is handcrafted from solid wood and packed with reinforced protective materials, damage in transit is rare but still possible. If you receive a damaged product, it is essential to notify our customer support within 72 hours of delivery. Please provide your order number and clear photos/videos of both the product and the packaging. This documentation helps us review your case quickly. After review, we will arrange a replacement or a refund at no cost to you.

For lost shipments, the timelines are different. In the United States, an order is considered lost if it has not been delivered within 14 business days and tracking has shown no updates for 7 consecutive days. For Ghana, the order is considered lost if it has not arrived within 20 business days under the same conditions. If this occurs, please contact us immediately. We will investigate with the carrier, and if the package is confirmed lost, we will either reship your order or issue a refund.

6. Order Cancellations

You may request to cancel your order if it has not yet been processed or shipped. Because we prepare and dispatch orders quickly, we strongly recommend submitting your request within 24 hours of placing your order.

If your order has already been shipped and a tracking number has been issued, cancellation is no longer possible. At that stage, the package is in transit. However, once you receive the product, you may still return it by following our Return & Refund Policy.

7. Returns & Refunds

For details on how to return an item or request a refund, please review our Return & Refund Policy page. Products that arrive damaged or defective are eligible for a free return and replacement. If you return a product for other reasons such as change of mind, you may do so within the allowed return period, but return shipping costs will be your responsibility.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Refunds are always issued back to your original method of payment. Please note that custom-made or personalized shelves cannot be returned unless they are defective. If you are unsure whether your product qualifies for a return, our support team is available to assist you before you begin the process.
